Why learn foreign-language vocabulary by topic

Topic-based vocabulary learning puts words into recognizable scenes instead of isolated lists.

Themes create relationships

Words in the same theme often appear together in real life. Studying tableware, transport, emotions, or fitness as a group makes meaning clearer and gives each word neighboring cues during review.

Scenes are easier to review than long lists

Long lists are useful for lookup, but they are hard to remember. WordMeadow turns a theme into a reviewable scene: scan the whole card, open words and examples, read the short passage, then practice recall.
