The class had to decide whether lunch should be noodles or rice. Some students wanted to agree, while others began to disagree right away.

The monitor tried to support the majority, but the class clown chose to oppose the plan and waved a note like a victory flag. The teacher asked whether everyone would accept the rule or reject it.

At first, Ming believed he would win, but then he started to doubt himself. He thought hard and felt nervous, and finally said he preferred noodles, though he would rather let everyone vote first.

When asked if he was sure, he smiled and said he was certain. Still, one student remained uncertain and gave a quick nope.

In the end, the teacher chose the fairest solution: everyone would take turns deciding. The whole class said okay, because both agreement and disagreement can help people speak clearly.
