The market opened at dawn, and Shrimp was the first to wave hello. Cod stood nearby with a serious face, while Abalone shone like a polished coin.
Seafood was being arranged in neat rows when Herring slipped sideways, King crab blocked the aisle, and Flounder flattened itself so well that it almost looked innocent.
Then Grouper, Crab, Sardine, Lobster, Octopus, and Squid squeezed in together. Clam stayed shut, Eel kept bending inside its bucket, and Mussel argued with Whelk over who looked more like a rock.
At last Oyster cracked open, and Sea urchin rolled up to Cuttlefish, making everyone jump. It turned out to be a harmless prank, and the whole stall looked happier than the sign above it.
